Zijia Zhuang

Communications & Events Coordinator, Chinese Culture Connection Zijia Zhuang joined Chinese Culture Connection in July 2024 as a Communications and Events Coordinator. After years of volunteering with various organizations, Zijia is proud to enter the nonprofit sector full-time, continuing her mission to empower communities through education and cultural understanding.​ Zijia holds a B.A. in Comparative Literature from Bryn Mawr College and an Ed.M. in Learning Design, Innovation, and Technology from Harvard Graduate School of Education. She is also one of the 2021 recipients of the prestigious Thomas J. Watson Fellowship, which supported her one-year self-designed travel research project on children’s reading promotion, titled “Who is Reading to Children?” With a deep passion for researching, writing, and translating children’s books, Zijia continuously seeks to bridge her work in the nonprofit sector with her love for children’s literature.
