Xiaoya Yin
Board Memeber, Chinese Culture Connection
Xiaoya Yin is a dedicated educator with a background in cross-cultural teaching and learning. She began her career as an assistant professor and lecturer at Fudan University in Shanghai before pursuing a Master’s in International Development at Clark University in the U.S. Over two decades, she taught in both private and public institutions, including Boston Public Schools, where she spent 15 years before retiring in 2021. Following her retirement, she briefly taught at Boston College. As a board member, Xiaoya contributes valuable insights and expertise shaped by her experiences in both Chinese and Western educational contexts, supporting the Chinese Culture Connection’s mission to foster cultural understanding and community connections.
