Dana Brown

Past Board Member, Chinese Culture Connection

Dana Brown is a lifelong Malden resident. He has been in education for 42 years and currently serves as a coach-mentor for principals, assistant principals, and other administrators across Massachusetts. Aside from this, he has been a classroom teacher at the middle school and high school levels as well as a coach of basketball and softball at both the interscholastic and collegiate levels. Dana has spent 16 of his 42 years in education as a building principal, serving as Malden High School’s Principal from 2003 to 2016.

Dana is now a Board Member for the Malden Warming Center and serves as Vice President of the Board for Malden Overcoming Addiction. He also serves as a Deacon at the Forestdale Community Church in Malden. Dana and his wife Marie recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary and the birth of their first grandchild Isabelle.
