January Program Highlights at CCC
As we kick off the new year, we’re excited to share a quick round-up of the programs and activities that took place at Chinese Culture Connection (CCC) this January. It’s been a wonderful month filled with learning, creativity, and community connection!
🧧 Lunar New Year–Themed Kids Finance 101 Workshop
On January 17, 2026, Chinese Culture Connection hosted a Kids Finance 101 workshop with a special Lunar New Year theme. Through engaging and age-appropriate story-time, children were introduced to the concept of compound interest in a fun and interactive way.
Participants also:
- Decorated festive red pockets
- Took part in a hands-on money allocation activity, learning how to save, spend, and gift
- Wrapped up the workshop by taking home their very own piggy bank, ready to put their new financial knowledge into practice
Smiles filled the room as children and families celebrated learning together!

🎶📚 Bilingual Rhythm Time with Ms. Cici
We also successfully launched our Bilingual Rhythm Time on January 8, 2026, and we’re thrilled to see a steady number of returning and new families joining us each week.
Led by Ms. Cici, this program offers babies and toddlers organic exposure to both English and Mandarin through:
- Catchy songs that introduce Chinese language sounds
- Fun, easy-to-follow stories for young learners
- Learning basic words through singing and play
🕙 Join us every Thursday from 10:00–10:45 AM for a joyful and engaging experience designed especially for little ones and their caregivers.
