We are pleased to share a recap of the Chinese Culture Connection’s 20th Annual Fundraising Gala, held on April 10th at Ming’s Seafood Restaurant. The event brought together community members, partners, and friends for an evening of celebration, reflection, and cultural appreciation. This year’s gala also marked a major milestone—CCC’s 40th Anniversary. We will feature more events in the coming months to celebrate this important anniversary and engage even more members of our community.
In addition to honoring outstanding individuals and organizations for their service and impact, CCC proudly announced its next major endeavor: the development of a dedicated Cultural Center. This future space will host cultural programs, educational workshops, and community events, supporting our mission of cross-cultural understanding and community building.

The Malden Warming Center (MWC) provides winter shelter, meals, and essential services to unhoused adults, connecting them to housing and healthcare with dignity-focused support.

Jordan Shapiro
Jordan Shapiro, Senior Partner at Shapiro Legal Group, co-authored the seminal Massachusetts Collection Law and held leadership roles in the Middlesex County Bar Association and Malden Chamber of Commerce. His expertise in municipal governance and civic engagement continues to drive impactful community initiatives.

Silent and Live Auction 爱心拍卖
The silent auction showcased an impressive collection of unique cultural artifacts, and memorable cultural experiences.
The live auction captivated our guests with thrilling opportunities, including our perennial favorites: premium Red Sox tickets, a luxurious week in Tuscany, and curated fine wines. This year, we were especially honored to feature original paintings generously donated by Peter Ng, as well as an exquisite piece created by Zhaolin Jiang, the mother of our Board President, Yulan—a heartfelt contribution that added a deeply personal and artistic touch to the evening.

The evening’s entertainment delighted our guests with a splendid lineup of cultural performances, enhancing the celebratory atmosphere:
